Mornings and Afternoons

I love my days off because I can just relax and enjoy what Garrett does throughout the day!
So here's just a sample of what we do.... Garrett wakes up, asks for Dad, then Jack, then proceeds to crawl over to the window, look for Jack, and then tells me he wants to go outside which continues the rest of the day...

What a cutie! and a big cheeser for the camera!

After we do lunch, some errands, and the afternoon nap... we get around to folding some laundry... which is somehow hilarious! *see video in next post... won't upload
loves to help mom... whether or not he really does help me...
Then after we play outside so he will stop asking me... Garrett gets really quiet and I find him doing this in his toy corner. He's such a great little reader and a smart boy.
In this particular book he loves to point out the dog in the park, going shopping, bath time, and of course that the boy is wearing a hat! (to which I'm amazed that he still has his on... 30 minutes after coming back in the house... new record)

But he did make it through every single book in his little box!

Outside

Last week's weather was so nice, that we all decided to go for a walk. We even did it two days in a row! Ever since then Garrett has woken up, pointed to the window, and says he wants to go outside! So when I had to go shovel the driveway Tuesday, I was so sick of hearing Garrett say he wants to go outside I bundled him all up, strapped him in the stroller and went outside.

I love all his funny faces!

I think Garrett was getting Jack in the eye, so he's keeping his distance. We'll have to practice a little more on being 'soft'.

Garrett just loves to watch Jack and anything he is doing. Notice the cute moccasins that used to be Jordan's that Cindy got him in Alaska!

First look at his hand...
That is a little snowball...
He's loving it! What a cute kiddo!
Uncle Rya must be teaching him to like snow...

Fun at home

Playing at home, Garrett is always has fun with dad. He loves to be silly with Jordan

This head tilt is something garrett started and has improved on ...

you now know if he really likes you if you get one that goes to the floor! He makes me laugh so hard sometimes.

Pointing to his plethora of toys.

These two crazy kids... my two sweethearts!

Excited For HAWAII!

I've had to change out clothes in Garrett's dresser, so I was trying to pull aside some summer outfits for going to Hawaii in February. I bought this cute turtle swim suit when he was super little! I can't believe it fits him right now!

Cheese!

Drunken sailor... not every picture is good I guess... However he might get this from Grandpa Nathan. We'll have to work on both of them.

So excited to go see Grandma and Grandpa Allen.

Two cute boys!

We were listening to the radio and Garrett loves music so he started to dance to it.
Maybe we can teach him some cool Hawaiian dances!
(sorry it's sideways but I don't know how to change it)

Not Camera Shy!

Garrett has learned that when we say 'cheese' and the red dot lights up on the camera... he knows to "fake smile" and/or stick out his tongue! Here are a lot of pictures of Garrett being funny while we take pictures of him.

The head tilt... apparently it's really funny because anyone will do it back, including complete strangers at the restaurant.

The eye blink... also something that's funny when people do it back to him!

The 'Fake Smile' = kind of evil grin. however, still cute and funny!

Mom and Garrett

More 'Fake Smile'

Fake Smile and Stick out tongue... we like to say he's the newest fan of 'KISS'.

Playing at home.

The car seat is fun! Especially the little orange button!

These are my favorite!!! Jordan and Ryan had fun one day while I was at work. I didn't see these until later when I was scrolling through ones I had already taken that night. He's sure a cute kid!

What?

Eating again... Garrett eats something every hour.
He's a growing boy I guess, just a prelude to how he's going to be as a teenager!

So Cute!

Playing with Christmas boxes, paper, and toys he just got.

My little Reader!

Garrett loves to read! He can read the same book 4 or 5 times a day. It's so funny to have him read it to you because he gets so excited about the pictures in the book. It's like he's saying, "wow, can you see this, it's so neat."

His favorite thing about reading is turning the pages.

What a nice place to relax and read... where's a swing for me?

Being Silly

Here's a cute video of garrett being silly! He loves to play peek-a-boo. We were playing around the corner in this video.

Just Chillin

Here's one of the biggest Aggie Fans! we finally bought him an Aggie shirt because he comes to most of the games with us! However, we did find this Aggie hat at home and Garrett LOVES hats!

He likes to be social with everyone around us... to the back, front, and side!
(especially with the cheerleaders and their sparkly pom poms!)
Happy most of the time

Practicing cheers

My Little Handsome Guy!

Those eyes will be lady killers...

along with that cute smile!!!

we just love to hang out!

The hat might be a little big!

This is about the time when the tongue started making it's comeback! It's out all the time now!
