Slacking...

So it's been forever since I've posted anything on the blog... So here are the reasons why:

I've been a little sick but more preoccupied, so Jordan has been working on some things by himself. Such as
Front and Back Yard: (you can look at Before pics on an earlier posting to see how it all started out)

Our Beautiful Deck:
Which we had tons of help from both parents. The dads did an awesome job and the deck looks beautiful!

'54 Chevy truck:

Not to be confused with the '55 truck that's red. This does 'run' now... however 'run' means just the engine because there are only 2 wheels on it currently.

The last and of course most important is our exciting news of our little baby boy who is due on March 13, 2010.
Here's a couple body shots (one with legs over his head):

Hands and feet and a face with his hand by it:

55 Chevy Truck

I pruchased this truck about 4 years ago. I have been slowly working on it ever since. It is still a long way from done. I redid the frame, boxing in sections. I put new suspension on it, making all new mounts. I put a 350 chevy motor which I helped rebuild along with an automatic transmission. I powdercoated the frame and put everything back together again.

I just picked up the body from my friend and former roommate Dave. He did the body work and paint at his shop in Tremonton. The front end isn't done yet, but I got it back to complete the interior, wire the whole truck, build a gas tank, run brake lines, and everything else that needs to be finished. I will bring it back to him when I finish up my part and he will finish painting the front end. Hopefully it will be ready to go for the "Cache Valley Cruise In" which is the first week of July.

I like the contrast in this picture. I currently drive the gray truck. I had a hard time going over 50 mph when pulling the 55 home.

Annual Motorcycle Trip

This year for our annual moto trip we went to Devils Playground...Which is just about 30 min. outside of Vernal/Dinosaur Park.

WE had tons of fun and always get laughin hard when we hang out with Mark!

Mark also showed us some cool petroglyphs just off the road... and in the middle of the oil fields...
We did some great exploring and had a ton of fun! ... including Cass jumping over the river

of course you have to have matching riding gear...

Zions Park

We were way excited to go to Zions this spring!

And were amazed at all the beautiful creations that have been put here on this earth for us to enjoy...

Jordan always is on the lookout for old cars he might be able to somehow take back with us... if I would let him and we had an endless supply of money and space....

And... WE definatly had SPRING FEVER by the time we got back...

The Year of the Great Outdoors!

There was also plenty of wildlife during the drive, all within 50- 5 ft.

Jordan can always find an old car wherever we go, whether it's 2000 miles away or 2 blocks.

The scenery was awesome and I'd say one of the coolest vacations I've been on!

Jordan's favorite shirt. He would wear it every day if I let him and didn't care if it needed to be washed...

This year we have decided that we are going to go on a lot of vacations in the outdoors. We have really enjoyed all the vacations we've been on including our family trip last year to Teton National Park, Yellowstone NP, and Glacier NP.
