New Bathroom

The bathroom is almost done!

It took a month, but Jordan did a great job at getting the bathroom done! It's like my own personal Spa! The tile work is beautiful and many thanks to those who helped get it done!
It's in working order but the finishing touches will have to wait!

Of course we started this project a week before my due date... because I got bored...and I thought the sooner we're in the middle of something the faster Garrett would come... i was right!

we actually went to the hospital the night this was taken...but it wouldn't be our lucky night.

Home Hotel

Since we were still in the middle of remodeling the bathroom when Garrett was born, we decided to stay at my mom's house until we could get the tile up on the wall and all the dust cleaned up. While we were still getting the hang of having an addition and Arica having high blood pressure, the bathroom took a little longer to finish than expected with Jordan doing it by himself. Thankfully my mom was nice enough to let us stay a whole week.

and had lots of fun visitors who were nice enough to come say 'hi'...

and best of all... Dad was great at getting Garrett back to sleep, even at 3 am.

Arica keeps saying that Garrett looks like me. It took me a while to figure out who he looks like, but I finally figured it out.

This morning I put Garrett in the sun to help with a little jaundice and he stretched out like this to let every part get some... then fell fast asleep.






It's a shame that we couldn't be in Hawaii with Grandpa Mike, because we'd both look like this... me a little more covered though.

New Baby!!

The waiting is finally over! He's here! Happy and healthy, out baby boy decided he was ready. And not a moment too late. He's got ten toes, ten fingers, and handsome features just like his dad. He definatly wanted to come when he was ready... sorry to Grandpa Mike that he wasn't here before you left for Hawaii.

Shooting at the Aggie Game

I finally had some time to update the blog... which is shamefully overdue! So here's what's happened to us since September. Jordan finally got selected to shoot at the Aggie Game. He's wanted to do this since he was little. In order to win the car he had to shoot a lay-up, free throw, 3- pointer, and half-court shot, all in 25 seconds. Unfortunatly, he didn't get the car... but he did an awesome job in front of 10,000+ fans.

Here's the Flame Blanket that Jordan picked out and I sewed. It even has a skull boreder. It's the ultimate father/son blanket!

Favorite Girl Kate!!

This is my cute neice Kate! She's the cutest girl and always happy! She's also my best shopping buddy! Mr. Bear is her favorite toy when she comes to play with me.
She also loves to read. Uncle Jordan is already getting her into cars.
