The Many Faces of Garrett

Garrett makes tons of faces every day... here are just a couple samples I have enjoyed!

Sleep Deprived

Nobody tells you that you no longer get to sleep 8 solid hours. I would take even 5 hours at this point in time. However, I will gladly take no sleep for this sweet boy of ours.

1 month old!

Wow I can’t believe that Garrett has been with us for one month already. It’s amazing how fast they grow up. He’s doing a lot better during diaper changes (mostly due to the wipe warmer that has been a life saver), bath time which still isn’t his favorite by any means, and putting himself to sleep.

Here is one of my favorite pictures...

It’s amazing that they have their own personalities at such a young age.

Who knew you could give them a nickname by two weeks. Garrett’s is ‘Turtle Man’. In order to understand this you need to look up “ Turtle Club, Master of

Disguise ” on google, then compare the turtle man’s face to that of the Garrett Turtle. It cracks me up every time Garrett pulls this face.

New Bathroom

The bathroom is almost done!

It took a month, but Jordan did a great job at getting the bathroom done! It's like my own personal Spa! The tile work is beautiful and many thanks to those who helped get it done!
It's in working order but the finishing touches will have to wait!

Of course we started this project a week before my due date... because I got bored...and I thought the sooner we're in the middle of something the faster Garrett would come... i was right!

we actually went to the hospital the night this was taken...but it wouldn't be our lucky night.

Welcome to the Ritz...

Home Hotel

Since we were still in the middle of remodeling the bathroom when Garrett was born, we decided to stay at my mom's house until we could get the tile up on the wall and all the dust cleaned up. While we were still getting the hang of having an addition and Arica having high blood pressure, the bathroom took a little longer to finish than expected with Jordan doing it by himself. Thankfully my mom was nice enough to let us stay a whole week.

We set up camp...

and had lots of fun visitors who were nice enough to come say 'hi'...

and best of all... Dad was great at getting Garrett back to sleep, even at 3 am.

Arica keeps saying that Garrett looks like me. It took me a while to figure out who he looks like, but I finally figured it out.
